Roberto Baggio was one of the most important players for Italy during FIFA World Cup 1994 in USA. He scored five goals in the knockout phase and he started every match from the beginning. In the final against Brazil, after 90 minutes regular time and 30 minutes extra time the result was 0:0 and for the first time the title was decided by a penalty shoot-out. After four rounds, Brazil led 3-2. Baggio although playing injured took Italy's last penalty. He missed by shooting it over the bar and Brazil win the World Cup for the fourth time. Roberto Baggio will forever be remembered as "the guy who missed a penalty".
